Maryam Nawaz, senior vice president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), attacked Imran Khan, chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), on Friday in GUJRANWALA (Dunya News). She claimed that Khan was bowing to the United States after causing controversy over the US conspiracy that led to his removal.
“Imran, who used to label his opponents as imported, is himself ready to get exported,” Ms. Nawaz said in her address to a convention. Ms. Nawaz continued to scold Mr. Khan by stating, “The people of Gujranwala are aware of Imran Khan.” She asked Mr. Khan to attend the PML-N convention to learn that the youth were supporting the PML-N. Everyone is aware of his 2014 failed sit-in.
She told Mr. Khan, “Imran cannot bear my statements,” referring to the alleged audio recordings of PTI leaders.
Ms. Nawaz posed the question, “Is it fair to leave the country’s fate on Imran’s mercy?” and claimed that Mr. Khan was addicted to drugs.
“After reaching an agreement with the IMF, Imran raises questions about inflation,” Ms. Nawaz stated, criticizing Mr. Khan for his agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
“Imran handed over the biggest portfolio within his party to the Punjab’s biggest thief,” Ms. Nawaz told the former Punjab chief minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi.
Khawaja Asif stated that PML-N senior vice president Maryam Nawaz’s return to the country was proving fruitful for the party, and she urged the people of Gujranwala to prepare for the elections and lend their support to the PML-N.
“The rulers are facing severe challenges to cope with to take the country out of quagmire,” Mr. Asif said in an address to a convention, acknowledging that the nation was experiencing severe economic difficulties.
“All the conspiracies of Imran Khan have been undone,” Mr. Asif said, mocking the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). “Imran’s court arrest drive has also faced a big setback,” he said of Mr. Khan’s “Jail Bharo Movement.” Imran got bail for himself, but he told his loyalists and workers to go to jail.
Mr. Asif stated that he (Nawaz) had maintained the country’s respect in this manner, recalling that the PML-N supremo returned to the country and went to jail while holding her daughter’s hands.
He made a promise that Nawaz Sharif would come back to the country.
