Maryam Nawaz snipes at CJP’s comments on parliamentarians

A top judge is criticized for stating that some lawmakers had been sentenced to prison.
Maryam says CJP didn’t get profound when she was tossed behind bars.
Imran’s biggest helper, according to allegations, was former spymaster Faiz Hamid.
Maryam Nawaz, Senior Vice-President of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), criticized Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Umar Ata Bandial on Wednesday for his comments about parliamentarians during a hearing of the Punjab election delay case.

“You [CJP] made fun of the parliamentarians when they were talking about the law and the Constitution. Are you aware of how proud it is to be imprisoned for an ideology? said the PML-N pioneer while tending to a legal counselors’ show in Rawalpindi.

Maryam’s remarks came after CJP commented that specific legislators talking on the floor of the Public Gathering had served prison terms and were proclaimed deceivers before.

“Today, when you go to parliament, you find people who were held captive, imprisoned, and declared traitors up until yesterday.” They are now conversing over there, and because they are people’s representatives, they are respected.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also voiced his disapproval of his remarks, stating that it was a source of pride for him to have been granted bail by the high court on the merits of false and fabricated cases.

He stated, “Under the Constitution, it is our right to express our views in the parliament.”

“I spent five months in Adiala Jail and five months in NAB’s (National Accountability Bureau) custody,” Maryam said, adding that the chief justice should have become emotional during the election delay case hearing.

Maryam mentioned that she was held in Adiala Jail for five months, but the chief justice did not express any emotion during that time.

Maryam said that the former chief of Inter-Services Intelligence, General (retd) Faiz Hameed, was the biggest facilitator of the former premier when it came to the archrival Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan.

She stated that even though the ex-military man had retired, his remains were still assisting Khan.

According to Maryam, the leader of the PTI’s social media team, Arsalan Khalid, was given instructions by Khan’s wife to link everyone to the treason when the former premier staged the “cypher drama.”

She stated that PML-N leaders appeared in court despite serving the unfair sentences.

Maryam stated, “Only those whose hands are clean do this.”

She inquired as to why Maryam and Justice Isa’s wife, Sarina Isa, were treated as if they held public office if “Pinky pirni” (Bushra Bibi) was not.

Maryam further hammered Khan for not announcing Tyrian White as his girl.

“At the point when a top state leader can be precluded over an Iqama, why couldn’t any more primes serve be excluded over a major falsehood,” she inquired.

She claimed that Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah had been arrested in a fictitious case while the PTI chief had been granted bail in dozens of other cases.
