AJK premier disqualified for contempt by high court

The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) High Court precluded State head Sardar Tanveer Ilyas on Tuesday from his situation as an individual from the official get together and as chief on disdain charges.

With Ilyas’ exclusion, the whole AJK bureau currently stands broke down.

Due to the boycott of the session for the prime minister’s election by the united opposition, there was no other candidate to compete against Ilyas, who received 33 votes in favor.

On July 5, 1975, Khan Abdul Hameed Khan became the first prime minister of AJK. AJK has had a parliamentary framework beginning around 1985. Sardar Sikandar Hayat, Sardar Atiq Ahmad Khan and Raja Farooq Haider Khan had two times held the workplace of AJK PM.
